ENGLISH COUNTRY BAD NEWS - The farm always on PAUSE Unlike English country !!! Read how Zynga give us a slap!

by Chriss Ro - Mar 13, 2011 Star_s5,090 views

Acording to farmvillefreak.com and other sites here are the bad news about EC:

- we will not be able to transfer our stuff from one farm to another :( We must buy same stuff TWICE.
- our crops and animals will not grow in the same time. When we work on a farm the otherone will be on PAUSE - crops, animals and trees will not grow.
 - we will have sheeppen but we cannot store our main farm sheep in the pen.

Working Hard on Two Farms:
Here is the very tricky thing about the upcoming second farm in the English Countryside, only one farm will be ‘active’ at a time.
For example: If you plant Strawberries on your original farm and head on to work on your second farm in the English Countryside for a few hours, when you return to your original farm your Strawberries will still be freshly planted and have experienced no growth. We can speculate that nothing will happen on your farm (animals will stop maturing, trees will stop growing etc) while you are working on another. This means that you cannot simultaneously work both of your farms.
Neighbor Visitation:
When you fly to FarmVille English Countryside with Duke you will activate your second farm in the English Countryside. Neighbors will be able to visit you on both of your farms. However, your neighbors will only be able to visit the farm that you are currently on, or last worked on. This will be represented on the neighbor bar. Underneath each neighbor will be either a home symbol (representing that their origonal farm is active and growing) or a British Flag symbol (representing that their FarmVille English Countryside farm is active and growing).
So one of your farms will essentially be on pause at all times.
This means that you will have to choose which farm you want to experience growth when you are not playing. The farm you work on last, or leave after working on will stay active (while the other is paused).
For example: If you are going to sleep for the night and would like to have your FarmVille English Countryside crops grow, you plant crops on your FarmVille English Countryside farm and not go back to your original farm. This would have your FarmVille English Countryside ’active’. Neighbors will see a British Flag symbol beneath your picture in the neighbor bar and will only be able to help you on that farm.
Here are the key points of FarmVille English Countryside:

FVEC will work as a second farm with a completely fresh start, so no you will not be able to access your current storage. You will need a lot of building materials to get started in FVEC so start saving up those Special Delivery Boxes!FVEC will have a story line of quests for you to complete, with some awesome rewards!Your progress in the story line can be seen on an interactive map where you will be able to see/help neighbors in their quests as well.FVEC will feature new Masterable Crops, Trees and Animals.FVEC will feature Sheep breeding that is different from any breeding we have already experienced. You will be able to create your own genealogy and create literally tens of thousands or even millions of different kinds of sheep!

Your FarmVille Examiner was fortunate enough to visit Zynga's headquarters in San Francisco on Friday to get you lots of news on the upcoming FarmVille English Countryside!

Everyone's favorite Community Manager Grimwell was on hand to give the Zynga-approved fansites a hands-on look at the hot new second farm feature, heading your way in the near future.
Getting to the English Countryside
The Duke's air balloon will be crashing into your farm. You'll need to be a good neighbor and help him fix it up to get him home (and to get you to the English Countryside). You'll be doing this by completing some super easy quests. Don't worry - if quests aren't your favorite thing, the FarmVille English Countryside is not a quest-based game. These quests are fun and rewarding though, and won't require a lot of work on your part!
All players who are at least level 20 in FarmVille will have the opportunity to travel to the English Countryside.
Getting Ready to Go
We are all aware that one of the recent mail deliveries from the English Countryside suggested we start saving Special Delivery Boxes to help us in the new farm. Zynga has let us know that around 100 Special Delivery Boxes is a safe number to have for the launch. There's no need to stockpile many more than that unless you WANT to, this initial 100 will help you get a good start in the Countryside.
Questing Questions
Many players are concerned the English Countryside is going to be entirely quest-based, like FrontierVille and CityVille. This is not the case. Your second farm in the English Countryside is your blank slate to do what you want with. You can participate in the quests, but it is not required. The new feature also will not be using energy.
Moooving On Over
Since the English Countryside is a second farm, players are also wondering if they will be able to decorate it any way they wish. Players WILL be able to use anything in their Gift Box on either farm (including seedlings, mastery signs and items you collect off the feed), Players will NOT be able to take items from their original farm's storage to place in the English Countryside. Although this may seem disappointing to you at first, rest assured it is a good thing. No one wants to throw some decorations on a second farm and forget about it like grandma's attic. You'll want to use this new space to showcase some awesome new buildings, decorations and crops.
New Music
Although we all love the current FarmVille background music we hear while farming and in podcasts, there is an all-new musical selection for the English Countryside. Take a listen to it in the video player to the left.
Managing Two Farms
You might be thinking it's going to be a task managing the grow times on two farms. Zynga has created a perfect solution for this. Only one of your farms will be the "active" farm. For example, if you plant Raspberries on your first farm and Red Currants on your second farm, whichever farm you use last will become your active farm. The first farm you planted Raspberries on will freeze in virtual time, so your crops will not grow (or wither) while you're away, while the second farm's Red Currants will be growing per their normal harvest time. The last farm you're on for the day will be the one that's active, and will also be the one your neighbors will be visiting.
More news onsome of the features you'll find in the upcoming FarmVille English Countryside will be coming soon, stay tuned!

This is the worst scenario ever. I can`t believe it! I can believe that we cannot move things or animals from one farm to another... I`m so disappointed. They ruin all the game. I understand now, how selfish they are , they don`t give a thing on the player opinions, all they care is making more money. They think if we will start a farm from zero, we will buy more items , or maybe when a item that cost FV is on the market we will buy it twice , once for the main farm and one for the English farm.
The only good thing that I espect now is that we can plant the same crops besides the new ones on the English farm too, because in this way we can use main farm only for decoration and the second for planting , we will gain some space by doing that , but with a price we will still not be able to store all our decorations, or to make some space by moving the animals on the second farm . But if on the English farm we will be able to plant only new crops , it will be almost like a totally separated game and it will suck big time.
And the pause on one of the farm is another selfish and stupid idea...and the fact that we could visit only one of the farm on our friends...just don`t have the words for criticizing.
Good news : we will have a sheep pen , but we will not be able to store our sheep or breed them...our sheep that we earned in months of playing.

Dear friends let`s boycott Zynga by not buying any fv items on the second farm. And think honestly : Do you let away your main farm , full with beautiful buildings , animals and decoration for a new one? Do you like the idea of buying same stuff twice? Do you like the idea to not be able to decorate with your hard earned stuff on the English farm and start from zero? How about that ugly colorated sheep (just don`t get why they did not use the idea of horse breading)?
This is one of my post that was deleted in Zynga forums and I want to post my ideas here cause their forum is not free.I WILL POST IT ALL HERE.
