Ok nothing is out on the market with stars (As of Yet!), changing colors or anything that glows!!  But we all see these sheep that our neighbours are getting or producing.. From what I can see nothing from the market or the sheep that we have over the course of two years produces stars or glows.  So is this a hack??    (Scroll down to see Zynga's comments yesterday April 14/15 2011)

On Monday April 3, 2011 FarmVille Feed Farm Master Dan reported with the above listed pictures:

“I personally, with the help of some great Neighbors and Friends, have acquired a few and wish to share a video of how they look!  We are not sure the exact way that the Patterned Sheep are made other than by chance.  I received mine from a few different neighbors, so be on the look out and ask around.”

I am sorry, but if you do not have stars in any of your sheep to begin with you can not produce sheep with stars.  Same concept for the glowing sheep or the sheep that change colours.. Interesting..

Now this farmer was one of the lucky ones that was able to have transported/moved one of every sheep she had over the last two years that would go into the Sheep Pen for breeding. I can tell you that I nor the customer service people that have farms have these "special sheep"  (At least that is what I was told but who knows what they do on their farms)
.

Here is a picture of my EC farm..
.
As you can see I do not have anything producing stars or that glows.. The disco sheep is gray and produces gray sheep.. I call her the "Walking Dead".  Sort of getting fond of her... I have also deleated alot of duplcated Ewes.  No point in having doubles if the colour is the same. Have no fear because half of the Customer Service Reps have no knowledge of this information and have been given the wrong information from other players...   Isn't it sapose to be the other way around... ?? There is obviously no communication between the programmers and CS (Customer Service).

.
The Latern Sheep is an Orange more redish colour from what I can tell.. To prove my point I took my white polka dot white ram and the Latern sheep to increase the odds in finding out what colour she is or if she flash.. Not the case farmers.

When mixed the colours are to be expected based on the colour chart.

.
As pointed out by one of our new GU Member Charms Cameron, "I noticed in the photo at the beginning  of the feed all the sheep in the barn. There are sheep in there that we don't need to be breaking our necks to get because they act exactly the same as a basic ordinary white sheep."  Guess what they are White sheep in costumes."   Take a close look at the Disco Sheep and Mine Sheep!  Guess what!  Both are Gray.

So if they are not on sale in the market where are they getting these special sheep?

Well if you are patient you will see them come across your feed from one of your neighbours who will kindly let you adopt one.  These are not shared as much since you can only adopt one lamb a day.

But if the Customer Service (CS) Reps are NoT participating in this.. Why take the chance this farmer says till someone at Zynga says something?  It does not take much to Google and track down some of this information on who is using it. I would also be careful about adopting a sheep with stars or one that changes colours. From all of the legitimate sites I have seen and blogs of people that are doing it correctly by not cheating.. it is not possible to produce.

I have also heard of missing sheep from neighbour’s sheep pens and I am suspecting that is why. Over indulgence (excessive use) of this will get people suspended or band from their farms..  Nor will it stop a Witch Hunt like before.. The sheep with stars and the ones that change colours have NoT been distributed in the market yet by Farmville English Countryside.

.
So from another GU member Beth Williams concerning the Flashing Sheep (FLASHER SHEEP):
.
"This is from a trusted site and news about the new flasher sheep thats hitting our New England Farms, we will be able to adopt the sheep....“Flasher” Sheep! once it is placed on our farms, will constantly Change/Flash colors!
.
Sheep breeding has become the talk of every farmer, and almost all of us have that one sheep that we are extremely proud of, and can make neighbors jealous with.
.
Another sheep has wandered into sheep breeder’s hands and is making its way around farms fast!  No one can be certain where sheep with stars, splotch patter or that flash are coming from but they are now be passed to farmers through lamb adoption like wildfire. These sheep are becoming more and more widespread with each new day.
.
Flasher Lambs are different colors than the lambs we have been growing of white, blue and grey hues. Lambs that will grow into Flasher Sheep are bolder and brighter colors like yellow and red.
.
Remember you can only adopt one lamb per day from a neighbor, so make your adoptions worthwhile!"
 .
You know.. it is so tempting to get a couple of special lambs.. put them in a quarantine area.. so they are not cross breeding with the rest of the population and contaminating them.. Keep a selection pure.  Times ticking.. and will this farmer break...   Am I only one of the few people here without a star - flasher or striped sheep??

 .
Note this is illegalUse it at your own risk.  If a single mistake is done, your farm may get locked or banned. Please Note: Claire Bensons remarks at the bottom of Christine's post!
.
"What Christine is talking about is a program called Charles. It is illegal to use according to Zynga and can get you banned or locked out of your farm if you do not use it correctly as Christine mentioned. The second link works. However I can not get the first link to work. I will say I wouldn't be surprised if Zynga shuts down the farm hackers site down soon as they also host the animal converter. They periodically get shut down because people advertise them here so heavily here although Farmville hackers has stayed up the longest. Now Charles is more difficult to shut down because it is owned by a company that never intended Charles to be used as a cheat device." .

Claire has a Very Valid Point... According to the Zynga Laws that Govern...

April 8-9 2011
.
A quick note from Customer Service Reps who HAVE taken the time to figure out what is going on:  "These star, stripe, and flashing sheep are not released by Zynga so at the moment they are from illegitimate sources."  Well.. we new all that from the begining of this post!  Inspite all the theories going around about the older/past sheep producing these special types.  I think it has been proven by this post, Zynga's comments, the pictures and the help of other GU members to find out the truth, as well as my frustration that it could NOT be done with the sheep that Zynga provided.
.
However No OnE from Zynga is saying we can't adopt the offsprings/lambs!!   So as long as your NoT producing the Sheep from a illegitimate hack site and you are only adopting them and then breeding your own adopted sheep.. GO AHEAD!!  There is nothing Zynga can do at this point because they have flooded the market!!  Happy Breeding!

*** However I think this Farmer will wait a bit to see what the programmers come up with next... So in the mean time I have separated my two "Adopted Sheep" and their off spring so that they are not mixed up with my original hybrids from the original Zynga Sheep.  It is also the easiest way to keep track of the Haritage.

Note:  My sheep are seperated so that my Pure/Hybrids/Adopted Electric Stars-polka/Colour Changing Stars/Striped Sheep are kept seperatly as well as the off spring from the parent ewe/rams so that I can keep track of their heritage. I think I need a moat around the bottom area! Alcatraz in the making lol

The Latest: 100 SHEEP ON BOTH FARMS!! - DOES NOT INCLUDE "NORMAL" SHEEP!!

Zynga has officially addressed the "illegal" Sheep issue once again.  Could the Witch Hunt be over???  Are these "illegal" sites shut down?  I find that hard to believe.  They may have put a plug in it.  However when one Hacker is stopped two more pop up.. Never ending circle of life.   "obviously a fair number of these are currently available"    I think that statement from Zynga says it all..

Here is the statement concerning the "illegal" sheep:

"We wanted to make a statement regarding “illegal” sheep, including ones with patterns that have not been released. The methods by which it was possible to attain these sheep have been stopped, (??? -> wondering if they had an on off switch on these sites?  Has Charles been shut down??) but obviously a fair number of these are currently available, and players have been breeding them at a prodigious rate. (Big word for Zynga!!  Means... people have been breeding sheep at an abnormal rate or way too fast!)  At this point in time it would be very difficult to determine how someone received one of these sheep—and it is extremely likely that if you saw a feed post or other reference to one of these sheep, the author is someone who acquired/bred that sheep legitimately. Please bear this in mind if you think someone has “cheated.” Chances are, they haven’t been. ???  Seriously?  Where are they getting this information?  Or are they down playing it?

As noted on April 8-9 2011 in this post concerning the "illegal" Sheep I did state "There is nothing Zynga can do at this point because they have flooded the market!!"  So once again!!  Happy Breeding!  .
