Kettle and pot: are those who use their games' official site cheats and aids cheating? Come to that paying for a completed quest instead of earning it through effort would be considered cheating too in any other situation outside of the gaming community. Not to mention shareholders et al are always bleating about 'free market competition' so what's their real problem with Gamers Unite?

How do people know you're using Gamers Unite? I usually know because of the message that comes up saying so, with a very nice standard 'thankyou' from the user. Wish more sites had such decent manners (are you listening Zynga/Facebook?).

I was getting nasty messages from friends of friends, saying that they did not tolerate cheaters & to stop using GU right now ! . I not so nicely asked them wtf do you think you are to tell me what I can do on MY fb. My friends did not say anything in my defense, which I notiticed they had other friends that use GU also, SO I DELETED THOSE "FRIENDS" !!! GAME OVER FOR THEM & LESS HELP FOR THEM ALSO

well if cafe world didnot have so many bugs and problems. and fb does not want us to add ppl we dont know what do they expect and they make the quests so hard that you have to buy to finish. i am 62 and i have set my alarm at nite working 24/7 and still behind. and i notice ppl we dont know thru gamers unite help each other and met new ppl. a lot of folks playing these kind of games are on limited income its like anything else they want to get rich off the poor ppls backs and they dont give a s--- about anymore else but themselves.

Personally to me i do not think that GU or FGS or any other bonus collector is a way of cheating because in a way it's helping you get things you need. I have had people to the same to me and i basically just stopped telling all my new neighbours that i use an auto collector. GU and any other bonus collector help me help my friends faster then having to click each post one by one.

I also have received a couple of these i explained i have no cheat tips or anything of that sort I find that i can help my friends faster as well as recieve my gifts quicker if people do not like getting the help quicker ifeel that is their problem not mine

I nave had a few already delete me but you know what let them I have 20 more friends on gamers unite for every one that deleted me, their loss my gain

This is how they found out about gamers unite users or other similar website user. One of my neighbor actually sent me this message:

I am not sure if you are aware of this, many people aren’t with all the scams going around, but did you know that you are showing up as using the cheat app "Gamers Unite"?

I wouldn’t want any of your other neighbors to see this, as some people would just assume right away that you are cheating and delete you. I joined a couple of cheats before I realised what they were. :(

Below you will find the directions on how to remove this app and unlike it. You can also check your neighbors and remove them, too. This link will help you do all of that. Whatever you do, though, remove the app from your profile but don’t block it or you won’t know who is using it on your list. Let me know if you need my help. I like having you as a neighbour!

Yes, even the message is already composed by the website owner for people to copy and paste. I have other neighbors that using gamers unite or other farmville bonus checker stuff and I don't mind. Not everyone got the time to play all day. Besides, I share so much free stuff too for my neighbors. If they would like to complain, feel free to unfriend me. I always being dutiful enough to return their gifts, accept their help requests although quite a lot of them don't even bother helping me out.

Yes, I went to that farmers daughters website and there was a listing consisting websites like gamers unite that they deemed to be "cheaters" and with just one click, as long as you r logged into your facebook account, they can show you who using what.

When this was a huge issue flooding the walls, I posted a status telling my friends that, yes, I was a member and if they were uncomfortable with it they could delete me. I still have all my friends...PS I don't use the snag bar but this site can be so valuable for info to help your neighbors :D:D

I get a few emails a days from my fb friends telling me that I was going to get deleted because I use GU. But I tell them in response that I didn't care that they could delete me if they wanted to and that if they really wanted to know why I was using GU was because GU has a fantastic little button where I can accept all gifts instead of having to manually accept each one. So to the haters out there that want to delete us have fun clicking on each and every gift. :P

asking me if I knew I was on the Gamers Unite list.

How are these people viewing a list of ppl using Gamers. I have over 100 neighbors only 21 of them are shown as my friends on gamers........that is the only way I know who is on Gamers (by checking my friends)
so how do these other ppl find out who is using Gamers............Personally, if they want to delete me I don't
give a big rat's u know what, I just want to know how they are finding out who uses it and who doesn't.

somewhere on this blog, I read a very good answer: when whatching tv, you can get up and change the channel on your tv station, or you can relax and use remote control. this is the difference between gamers using GU and others. Whilst using GU, you can send gifts to your friends, help them out with barnraisings and you can work on the coops. I kind of liked this answer. hope it helps you all out.

I have been getting the same email and as of today 32 have deleted me. Oh well. They said face book would be notified and I would loose my account.

i just got an email about the same thing. i thought maybe i was doing something wrong. but it looks like i am not the only one out there. thanks for this. i feel better about all this.

I put it on my wall for all my friends to see. I told them that I use Gamers and that I will continue to do so, and if they had a problem with it they can delete me. Guess what, No one deleted me. And the one person that was being pissy just shut up altogether. I say if they want to delete you let them. I will be happy to send you a request.
