nothing works. I love chefville. Any games around that are similar?

I have been going down to the lower Restaurants, like at Zero. They load fast and you can get the flour, sugar stuff like that. Only problem is you get the Salt but not the pepper because you are new friends for them. It does work and load fast though, without all the crashing.

Every recommendation posted for this issue doesn't work for me. And, when I do clear browsing history, cache, and cookies, it makes things 10 times worse. It isn't my year-old laptop, the fact that I use Chrome, sometimes Firefox, right now Waterfox, or even Opera to try playing this game, either. It's Zynga versus Shockwave and has been from the start. The only helpful advise was that the higher up you level, the bigger your restaurant gets, the more problems you're sure to experience. I quit Cafe World for the same reason, but I'm sticking it out with Chefville (can't say why, maybe I'm a glutton for punishment?) But now that they've offered to 'ask' us what we think, I let them know in no uncertain terms how I feel about them, their greed, and their lack of knowledgeable employees who can't seem to get their shat together. I would say to stop trying to fix something that isn't broken on our end and bombard Zynga instead - make THEM fix what is broken on their end since a majority of us are paying their salaries by buying things to keep up with the constant demands.

Here is a fix for chrome. When the plugin updates, it doesn't disable the built in plugin. http://www.howtogeek.com/103292/how-to-fix-shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/

after reading this all, i think to stop with chefville, they should deliver a good system, i won't fit my system to their system!

Just researched this, this morning and it was a quick and easy fix! No more problems. Follow the instructions in the following link: http://www.howtogeek.com/103292/how-to-fix-shockwave-flash-crashes-in-google-chrome/

The larger my restaurant gets, the more issues I have. I have not been able to log on for days. I clear everything in my Inbox and then almost immediately get the Ooops please make sure you are only playing the game in one tab, which I am. I have Chrome 29.0.1547.62 m, Firefox 23.0.0.1, latest Shockwave, latest everything. I clear cache 20 - 30 times a times because of all the problems with Zynga games, start my computer at least once a day, tried incognito and private windows. The main issue is that Zynga is doing a terrible time of consuming memory with Flash. As soon as I start ChefVille, my Chrome\Flash memory usage jumps to 500 MB and continues to climb up to 2 GB, especially when I visit large neighbors. As soon as it gets close 2 GB, Flash crashes and I have to reload the game. This gets started getting really bad witht he release of the Delivery Trucks and continues to get worse with each new "updae"\enhancement\new expansion. Personally, I never liked the Delivery Trucks and I do not play them at all anymore and want them removed from the game. And if you want to see your memory usage all you have to do is use Task Manager. Start -> type in taskmgr. And in addition to clearing cookies and browser cache make sure you clear Flash cache.

Elaine, I've done everything recommended by Zynga. It doesn't seem to matter which browser you use or you computer settings. Chefville simply crashes all the time. It probably has something to do with all the bugs in Chefville and/or the programming format/language they are using. In short, clear cache/cookies often as suggest below helps just a little. Other then that there's no fix. If you go to the help site for Chefville you'll find a million + one posts on this subject. Sorry.

i agree it is not everyone's computer, I have 4g internet, 8 gigs of ram memory and a 1tb hard drive and I encounter the same problems when loading neighbors restaurants. It has absolutely nothing to do with my computer and everything to do with zynga and their overloaded servers. It is funny how games are presented then cant handle the traffic and right away it is our systems fault or our internet connection is bad. I call bs on all of it. If you are going to make a game learn to have better servers that can actually handle the traffic!!

CLEAR YOUR BROWSER MEMORY & COOKIES STORED .! IT DOES HELP.

@ Aira Lopez

You wrote: "check the memory of your pc.. go 2 start, then click run, then type the word dxdiag, then click display, you will see the available memory of your pc."

I have 16GB of RAM and I crash CONSTANTLY! Has absolutely nothing to do with RAM or anything else on an individual's laptop or PC.

The game is overloaded on Zynga's end. THEIR servers can not handle the traffic, yet they continue to add on more and more, keep asking us to buy, buy, buy and they give us nothing but lame excuses to "clear the cache", etc...

The game is becoming a real PITA... period.

same here and I get a lot of OOOOOPPPSSSS!!!! that the game won't load

Picture?type=square

i've been using the waterfox-browser since a few days now and the game didnt crash anymore

check the memory of your pc.. go 2 start, then click run, then type the word dxdiag, then click display, you will see the available memory of your pc.

Picture?type=square

i have exact same problem very annoying

Picture?type=square

I've had the same problem...they told me that I had another program running in the background told me how to close it..then they stopped answering my emails. I've tried everything that has been suggested...it still freezes and it so hard to visit neighbors with large places...it doesn't even go anywhere...never finish anything because of the freezing.

Picture?type=square

same problem here for over a year and it never fixes it

Picture?type=square

The best way not to crash at least less is to go over to the Maxthon Browser!!!

Picture?type=square

the memory of your computer might be low.... click the "run" on the start, and type the word dxdiag, then click ok, the approximate memory of your computer will appear. if memory is low, naturally game loading will always crash.
