It is not the games fault at all. It is a glitch that Adobe has to sort out. There is another company busy developing a flash player that they say will stop this problem. As soon as I have the link I will post it here. Adobe is sadly free to download so they don't care about probs that users have. My game constantly crashes, but I have to put up with it. The less crowded your restaurant is the better, the section that crashes is the container.exe file. It uses 100% of your cpu and that is what bombs the game.

its nothing to do with the memory tanya, chefville is the ONLY game that it crashes on,all my other games are fine, ive tried everything they told me to try to solve the solution nothing works x

I have the same problem with CHROME

yes having alot of problems with shockwave CRASHING not good

When firefox starts to lag or free, you can: go to Windows Task Manager, select Processes Tab and search for "plugin-container.exe", right-click and select "End Process". This will force-crash Adobe Flash instead of waiting for it to timeout.

I disagree its because of computer memory (or network problem). I have 4GB with dual processor and decent network than can download 100mb in a few minutes. I have also been a developer for 20 years to know this problem is due to bad design. Sometimes the game hang because other tabs in forefox also try to run Adobe Flash and encounters conflict (yahoo, youtube or sometimes those annoying flash advertisement within the same facebook page).

But I blame it mostly on how chefville is designed. The game kept growing with no planning or memory management. The storage is so limited and there are a lot of kitchen furniture that is useless but are just memory clutter. And mostly I blame the way the game is designed to keep popping up stuff you don't need like the INVITE FRIENDS window.

The biggest problem is...computers memory! You want to blame the game because it use to work so well, but after playing for a time, everything is slower...and things crash. My husband has been an IT guy for over 20 years and he sees this all the time, even with people who aren't playing games on FB! The longer you have had your computer, or the lower amount of memory you have to start with, you will be more likely to have crashes. I have 2GB on my computer...in other words, it crashes with every game...I just have to be patient with it, close Firefox every so often and keep an eye on the "control panel"...if too much memory and CPU is being used for an action things will crash, no matter the game!

There is a Some what solution to the problem. The more you have in your restaurant, the more the game has to load. If you keep things to a minimum it will cut back on the amount of crashes you have. When i visit a neighbor who has Everything in their restaurant , usually higher mastery then i am, i am 1150, i will get a shock wave crash notice, but it just means that the computer is trying to Load everything, and if you just wait a few seconds it will go away and load up. click NO when it asks you if you want to Stop the loading.
So basically, The MORE you have to load, the More the game will do the "crash". but if you wait a few secs, it should load. I use Google Chrome. Firefox would crash on me ALL the time. Chrome, just takes a sec and then it is ok. Keep everything at a minimal, and things will run smoother. Also keep your Temp and cookies files cleaned up. Z has over loaded every one with everything. and since there is so much movement in the game, IE: Customers, if you also cut back on the amount of tables you have to serve, i keep 6 total, that will help also.
Hope this made sense.

IF THEY DON'T GET THIS GAME FIXED THEN I WANT ALL THE MONEY BACK THAT I HAVE SPENT

Yes i have been having alot of trouble with my shockwave flash crashing but there isn't anything really you can do about it but stop playing chefville, even tho you really like the game.

I have the same issues. No known solution that I have found that actually works. Tried it all. Switched to Firefox and that seemed to work ok for a while but their Adobe crashes too. Sent hundreds of crash reports but nothing changes. Just have to deal with it.

Picture?type=square

No solution has worked for me either. Soooooooo frustrating. And they want you to buy chefcash? No way!! I spend more time waiting, reloading and restarting than I do playing!

Picture?type=square

I have tried everything and my shock wave crashing all the time...... it's getting sicking and I just might delete my facebook account....

Picture?type=square

as many times as i have upgraded and unplugged and gripped, it has never done any good. this issue started when the owner of fb went global and we started having all these changes and fb became really huge. its been an ongoing issue as far as I know, and i dont think that fb has a clue as to how to even begin to fix the issue.

I am having the same problem too I have read to disable the shock wave plug in because i was using goggle chrome but then that did not work since I had to reload adobe flash player again so i tried downloading mozilla fire fox to see if that browser would work any better and unfortunately I have the same problem with that browser too , when I looked up how to fix it , I was advised once again to disable the shock wave plug in . I haven't done that yet in firefox since i am just frustrated at this point > I am hoping to find an answer to this as well .
