Question-whiteINACTIVE NEIGHBOURS in ChefVille

Please_share
by Cory Mills - Oct 19, 2013 Star_s1,294 views

When accepting neighbour requests I get a message that I am at my limit. I have alot of inactive neighbours....can they be deleted in order to make room for new neighbours?

is there a way to keep track of the active players vs the inactive? i send out requests and very few send back and it takes me days to even open an item let alone complete all the quest that go with it. i have tried keeping track of who send back but sometimes it doesnt show me who exactly sent what.

I have gone as far as removing them from my list of friends, they still stay on as chefville players... and when you use "easysend" they send to everyone and they stay or activate again..... ridiculous about having names of people that dont play anymore.....

To remove inactive neighbors - visit the neighbor, next to their restaurant name is a circle, click on that circle to remove (might need to wait a second for the request to pop up). Only then (not before or they will appear as friend and you may not be able to identify them) go to your friends list and unfriend. You will need to do this separately for each person you want to remove as once you click on 'remove' in the restaurant you will return to your restaurant automatically. Once you return to your restaurant you must refresh (go home) to do it again for the next person.

I agree with Karen too... the requests are a mission - too many people (and I must admit, I get confused sometimes who's playing what games ;) ) guess its just a way to keep you sending requests and maybe they'll take the game up again... it's all about the amount of people playing the games that keeps it going. (would be nice to have active players only in your request box)

I TOTALLY AGREE. I HAVE GAMES THAT IDONT PLAY ANY MORE BUT I STILL GO BACK AND SEND THOSE NEIGHBORS WHAT THEY NEED. YOU THINK THAT SOME WOULD DO THE SAME BUT NO. THEY DONT. THEY MAKE IT HARD TO KEEP TRACK.

I have tried deleting people that dont play anymore, the button next to their name does not remove them; you have to keep track of who is active and who is not. the other issues are; you cannot remove them from your people list, thats what I want them to fix.....

I have deleted inactive players, but also lost my Reputation points!

there should be a symbol donating if a neighbour has not played for more than a week

PLUS I actually keep a spreadsheet so that I can track the players!

China Paige is correct about going to their restaurant and clicking the "remove". I think you also have to delete them from your FB page. I THINK...if they were to "unlike" the app, they would quit showing up. At least that's how it used to be. Having said this, I am TIRED of adding people then having them poop out after less than a week. I always check their wall page and if I see that they are playing a bunch of other games, and they have 1,000 friends - I just remove those people. So, if you are a COMMITTED player, I could use a few more neighbors to make it possible to complete at least ONE of the timed quests!!

Karen the only way I know how to remove them from your request list is to remove them from your friends list on facebook or whatever platform you play on.

Ok I tried China Paige requested and it works, but how do you remove the names of players in your request? There are so many names, but a lot of them do not play. I would just like to have active players listed, not a list of players who tried and decided this was not the game for them.

@ China Paige...I'm going to try your suggestion for deleting neighbors, and I'll let you everyone know if it worked for me.
Do you know what the maximum number of neighbors you can have??

I believe that if you go to the person's restaurant that you want to delete, next to the name of their restaurant is a person icon with a circle and a line through it and I think if you click it you can delete them as a neighbor.
