Starting back on October 19 2014 I started notiticing gems missing from my account...I use an iphone 5 to play. After over 2 weeks of screen shots and being stong and standing my ground with Social Point, they finally believed me, but did not reimburse or ackknowlage it any further. I would love to know if anyone else has seen a loss of gems? The loss I finally figured out is the gem you get from filling your Dragon Market past the fill point. This is only on iOS I think, not sure about Android Mobile. I started out not knowing what was going on, and at first thought I was just plain loosing one gem a day...I have posted following this all my corraspondence with Social Point...I very highly doubt I will ever get my gems back, but lets hope they are actually working on a fix for this since I have made them aware with my consistant nagging....

Right. Bc I had got a reward of one gem from my market after sending that. I also leveled up and got another gem from the market both are lost I'm back down to 4 gems where are these gems going??? I'm not spending them. It's not like I don't BUY gems from you people I'm not trying to scam you. But I cannot buy anymore until we figure out where these gems are going.

I did not loose 25 gems. I know I bought that. Today I lost another gem. I had 5 gems. I did not notice the gem was gone until I collected my market bonus it said
+1 gem in screen so I looked and it said 5 gems. Screen shots:

This was yesterday's note the level progress.

Here is today's. 5 gems once again even after that plus one gem bonus. Sorry but I refuse to let this test until it is solved. I have lost many gems now.
Pretty sure eventually I will get you to believe me but until then I will continue to log it all down.

Updating again. Here is this mornings screenshot and the next is screenshot from just now. Lost ANOTHER gem. This time you hopefully understand I am actually loosing more than 1 gem a day. Today it's two so far. Let's hope to find the reason behind this.

Ok it has to be a bug. I showed you the proof. It happened again today. Do you have records of me receiving gems from my dragon market? This is getting silly that you will do nothing about this. Here is what I am going to do. I am actually going to go purchase gems with my money. Let's see if those start disappearing and if they do and you still do nothing about this there will be issued. I know I can report this kind of abuse. And I know who to go to. It's crazy that it has to come to this to get this solved.

Did you actually look at the screen shots??? I need to know yes or no if you did. If so, can you not see one gem is gone?? How do you explain this?? There is no data on this gem disappearing so you say so if I did not spend it, then it is lost. Something needs to be done. Can you tell me if your service department has reported this or is it being ignored.

We have gone through your your screenshot but there is no record of 1 Gems lost. But I do see that you have spent 2 Gems to speed up to collect food on 2014-10-08 & 2014-10-15.

Please document dates as well as I am messaging you every time I loose them. So here we are 10/23/2014 and I am now loosing gems I spent money on. Somewhere you have a gem eating glitch. Screen shots follow to show I had 31 gems. Now I have 30.

I bought some gems. But the ones I loose are the ones I earn from the game. Thus I only accumulate gems if I buy. Today I leveled up. (Plus one) and got one gem as a reward from the dragon market( iOS plus one) so I should have 32 if you do not count all the other gems I have lost before today. Usually if I play regular I can earn 1-3 gems a day but the fun has been sucked all out of that bc of this bug.
So far today it has taken away my market Bonus but let me keep my level up bonus. Maybe the bug is only in the market bonus??

same i lost 9 games. they just steal from us. maybe we can sue them with all of the people who lost gems.

I was losing a gem every two hours to the void. It seemed each time I opened the app one was gone. DC refused to acknowledge it so I logged out of my fb and played offline. Since then I have lost no lore gems. Its possible a hacker is siphoning them somehow.

Hi ive been having the same problem, today i was playing dragon city i had 105 gems. Then i went out on my friends swegway, when i got home i only had 5 GEMS ONLY! I was devastated. I cried for hours, social point please fix it. Please please please

This has happened to me at least 3 times. The first 2 times I had over 700 gems and some how over night they disappeared and I was left with 200 or so. It happened to me again last night. I had over 200 gems and this morning I only had 43. I was saving to expand my islands but now have to start over. I feel SocialPoint is purposely stealing gems so you'll keep spending $ to buy them. I don't think its a bug. I'm positive that I'm not accidentally purchasing anything. I have not used any hacks or cheats on this game. Just enjoying the collecting and seeing if I can get most of the dragons. Their dishonesty is a real shame.

This just happened to me today. Last night i had 58 gems. Today i only have 21! These are all gems i have earned from the game. Glad i have never payed money for them as this happened to me on another game. 7months later and they still haven't fixed the bug, its ridiculous! Something similar happened to my friend who plays dragon city but it was his gold. He would have about 2/3 million and the next day he would only have about 300,000. Really puts you off playing a game.

Just lost 15 gems. Been playing for two months and this never happened. Just added friends a day ago and my market has been full for the last day or so. I'm pretty sure this bug has not been fixed or someone has stolen them from my. I don't hack or cheat in any way so I just messaged sp

Have lost 30 + gems (which I bought) in the matter of 3 days
Also not been given rewarded gems from winning tournaments or leveling up ..
Feeling very ripped off
And will be telling others not to purchas..!

i guess you people shouldn't have entered your user numbers from facebook into random websites trying to get hacked gems and money.. dont deny it...

that gives a hacker your user number and allows them to remove gems from your account. where do you think the hacked gems come from.. gems are a type of currency.. they are all accounted for.. hackers cannot make them appear out of thin air otherwise socialpoint would be able to trace them..

if you get free gems from a hack program, you are stealing them from someone else who paid for them... stop cheating and keep the game fun and fair for everyone!!

It's happening at my house too. My daughter lost over 50 gems. I lost three one day and then just now lost 35. Neither of us has bought or sped up anything. I just send SP an email. I bet I get nothing like you did. At least you only lost one a day. I logged in looked at my gems I had fourth. I collected Gold and looked up to see how much gold I had and my gems said 5. 35 gems gone while I collected gold? Weird. Clearly there is a glitch or hack.

Hey Heather!

I know it has been awhile since your post, but I just wanted to let you know that I too am having this problem still. It started for me at the very end of October, either 10/30 or 10/31. I have sent multiple emails to customer support, but they acted like I was crazy and have straight up ignored some of my emails. I've continued to check in with them often and this issue still has not been resolved for me. They send me that very same last reply or just a quick we're working on it one. Personally, I think it is ridiculous because it has been over 2 months now! At first, I thought the issue definitely seemed to have some sort of correlation with the Dragon Market. However, I'm not sure anymore because I stopped using my Dragon Market for awhile, and I was still losing gems every 4-5 hours or so. I've deleted it and purchased it again as well and that didn't help.

I play on PC and iOS, so it's interesting to me that you also use iOS. I've asked in the Facebook communities and no one else really seems to be having this problem. In fact, you're the only other person I have heard of! Did you ever find a way to fix this? I hope so, because this is so aggravating!

I'm considering filing a complaint against Social Point, because I also had paid for some of the gems I lost in the beginning. I bought 25 gems through the $1.99 dragon, food and gold bundle on 10/30. They wouldn't refund them to me (which is fraud), so I haven't bought any more gems since! However, I'm still losing the gems I earn from winning battles, leveling up, etc. now and I'd really like that to stop. Otherwise, there's really no point in playing the game. If you count me losing 4 gems per day for 60 days, that's 240 gems I have lost!!!

I'm pretty sure Social Point created this bug to scam players. They think that they can steal the gems we have paid for so we'll just buy more. This will only earn them more revenue. It sounds like a creepy thing to do, but other big gaming companies have done similar things. When I complained about this in the Facebook communities, someone told me to look into what Zynga did to their Farmville players. I'm glad I found your post. It makes me feel better that I am not alone in experiencing this, and further supports my theory of Social Point scamming us. Why else would a company steal from it's customers and still not have the bug resolved over 2 months later? That's just my opinion and I could be wrong, but I've been gaming for almost 2 decades and have never seen anything like this before from a company.
