does anyone know how long it takes a tree to get to full size, seems like forever for me need one more to chop down, dont want to buy it lol im cheap, one time i got a full grown tree as a gift but im not sure how

check your collectables cos they have new rewards like cacti, skulls, grass,so check before you trade in

Picture?type=square

Simpler to just trade in the collections that give you rocks, skulls, grass and cactus. Look in your collections guys or your inventory if you trade in regularly.

Remember that collections that you turn in also give you grass, skulls, thorns, and wildflowers.

Cow collection: Skulls
Cabbage: Thorns
Wheat: Grass
Manure: Wildflowers

I read ANIMALS and DECORATIONS stop things from growing. So be careful where you place these items on your farm. I have noticed thorns popping up on occasion from a new Oak tree sprouting. I keep about a 5-7 square radius on almost half of my farm. Left and bottom sides. I have a good supply of everything. I keep my tall trees on the outer borders and remove and replace with the new sprouted trees every once in awhile. You can move and place those young trees where you want them. Very nice option in the game. They have new collections now that you can turn in for these items, thorns, skulls, cactus ect. Well hope this helps in some manner. Good Luck Frontierville Players!

I'm having problems trying to grow grass/thorns/rocks/skulls on my homestead. I have cleared the whole bottom half of my homestead and it's been 24hours with nothing ... matter of fact I have never had anything grown after clearing it (that I've noticed) I'm pretty stuck on about 7 missions that I'm unable to complete due to this issue..please someone help! Thanks!

I did the same thing and now I'm waiting for rocks and skeleton's to grow back. It seems like it takes forever. I've had grass and the wild flowers grow and an occasional tree sapling but I NEED the skeleton's and the thorns. I don't have any DEEP woods. I've got a few trees around the perimeter of my frontier but nothing much other than that. Any secrets on how to get the skeletons to come back??

Picture?type=square

woohoo, I got it...I put some new tries and after 3 finally grass grwoing...

Picture?type=square

Yea...lol, Im waiting too! From the beginning...I went in and cleared out everything, and bought a bunch of cobblestone walks to cover everything up...lol. Needless to say...I now have sold alot of my walkways! I can't believe I am so hooked on this game!!!! I used to think people were crazy that did this :)

Picture?type=square

Nop nothing helped still no grass ... I put some new trees also have a lot of space...:(

Picture?type=square

I've found that if you leave any untended space more than 5x5 squares, the land reverts within 24 hours to nature (grass, wildflowers, tree starts.) Leave a blank space at least 5x5 on your frontier with nothing blocking the outside border for a few days and you'll get cactus (usually in the lower left quadrant) and thorns (usually in the upper right quadrant) within a day or two. I've noticed skulls and rocks tend to appear in the lower left quadrant, also within a few days, but there can't be any fence around the border of your frontier. In my game play experience, I've found that putting a fence around my borders kept all the grass/skulls/rocks/etc from regenerating. Hope this helps!

Picture?type=square

What to do if grass, skulls, rocks doesn't appearing any more. I need to clober 4 snakes but I waiting weeks to apear something to clear. Please help me, I dont want to use horsies. I have so much free places for that to grow uo but honthing happend.

Picture?type=square

i need to clobber 7 bears. and i have no trees on my farm. i had to buy trees, and now i have to wait for trees to grow. -.-

Picture?type=square

With regard to building to get items, be aware the land expansion takes a lot of wood to complete, I started quite a few inns to get my pillows and ended up having to buy a tree to get the wood to finish the expansion task.

Picture?type=square

i waited a long time too then finally bought one :-) what a pain.

Picture?type=square

If you clear a 5x5 patch in the upper right corner you will get your thorns... The same will happen if you clear out a patch in the lower left corner you will get grass/skulls/etc... They will come back in a few hours...If they DON'T then you did NOT clear out the right portion or enough spaces...

All the quests can be done without buying anything...(without using horseshoes)

Patience is a virtue.

For the Inn/Cabin/Barn/Egg collections etc, all I did was build until I got what I wanted, and no need to "finish" it, just by "whacking" it I got the needed parts...

Picture?type=square

Well I had a thorn pop up right under the top left hand corner (not in corner) right in front of my barn and nothing was around it...i think they just have a mind of thier own! Now does anyone know if thorns help more thorns grow...i don't want to remove it if it will help more grow!
