I am looking for information on how many and what types of troops i need to send to take over grasslands, mountains, and barbarian camps based on their level. Anyone that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this helps!

Barb camps are great sources of food. They have inserted randomness to attacking these camps so you WILL occasionally lose some archers in the attacks. Here is a guide for archer only attacks.

Barbarian Camp without any losses:
Level 1 Barbarian Camp - 500 Archers
Level 2 Barbarian Camp - 1000 Archers
Level 3 Barbarian Camp - 4000 Archers
Level 4 Barbarian Camp - 10000 Archers (with level 7 Fletching)
Level 5 Barbarian Camp - 20000 Archers (with level 8 Fletching)
Level 6 Barbarian Camp - 40000 Archers
Level 7 Barbarian Camp - 60000 Archers

Wilderness Troops Needed for No Loses (again, adjusted higher just in case… they seem to have changed it slightly)

Level 1 - 100 Archers
Level 2 - 300 Archers
Level 3 - 500 Archers
Level 4 - 1000 Archers (and level 5 fletching)

Level 5+ have traps and you will lose some troops. Send a first wave of 600 militia and 1 swordsman to take out most of the traps.

Level 5 - 2500 Archers (and Level 6 Fletching)
Level 6 - 5000 Archers (and Level 7 Fletching)
Level 7 - 10000 Archers (and Level 8 Fletching)

Levels 8+ will always cost you some archers.

Level 8 – 25000 Archers (500 loss)
Level 9 – 50000 Archers (1500 loss)
Level 10 – 90000 Archers (3000 loss)

This is a list of the amount of various troops in lvl 1-10 wildernesses.

To help you in your food preparations on how much your troops will eat, below is a little quickie Troop information:

Supply Troop = 1 might, 2 food/hr
Militia = 1 might, 3 food/hr
Scout = 2 might, 5 food/hr
Pikeman = 2 might, 6 food/hr
Swordsman = 3 might, 7 food/hr
Archer = 4 might, 9 food/hr
Cavalry = 5 might, 18 food/hr
Heavy Cavalry = 7 might, 35 food/hr
Supply Wagon = 6 might, 10 food/hr
Ballista = 9 might, 50 food/hr
Battering Ram = 9 might, 100 food/hr
Catapult = 10 might, 250 food/hr

I'm currently raiding lv. 9 barbarian camps with 45k archers, and 45k ballistas with no losses ... also lv. 7 with 45k archers and no losses. i'm maxed out on all research

you guys do not hit a level 7 period unless you have atleast 250 k archers to defend with because they draw in to much troops instead hit a level 6 with 22k archers level 9 fletching it works way better plus u make like what 500k more food

you can send 300mm then 5500 ballistas on a lvl9 wild and all you lose is the 300mm

O.o actually.... you SHOULD send waves..... it would be dumb not to..... I use a wiki guide and has yet to loose me more than 200 militia... at lvl 7 wils that is

I have personally tried and verified the following information. all information given are based on the following:
I have: Level10 Fletching, lvl10 Featherweight, lvl10 Metal Alloys, and knights with combat skills of t least 90.

Barbarian Camps with no (Zero) losses:
lvl1 -- 1200 Archers*

*--You could send less, but you will not get the full load of your loot.

lvl2 --2400 Archers
lvl3 --- 4200 archers
lvl4 --- 8900 archers
lvl5 -- 12,000 archers
lvl6 -- 22,000 archers or 10,500 Ballistas
lvl7 --44,000 archers or 16,500 Ballistas
lvl8 -- 27,000 Ballistas
lvl9 -- 45,000 archers and 45000 ballistas
lvl10 --still working on zero loss, but successfully conquered them with some loss, sending: 20K Pikes, 34K swords, 20K archers, 1K wagons, 15K ballistas, and 10K catapults.

Wildernesses
First off, Wildernesses have traps, and I have not find a way to defeat them without losing any troops, so with this in mind, please remember to attack wildernesses in 2 waves. The first wave is to take out the traps, therefore, send your lowest cost units--Level 2 wilds and up have traps, and they are as follow: lvl2- 5;lvl3 - 10, lvl4 -20; lvl5 -50, lvl6 - 100; lvl7 --150; lvl8 --300; lvl9 --600; lvl10 -1200.

That being said, the following information pertains to what to send for the 2nd wave to get zero loss on your part. Please note, send your 2nd wave gets in less than 1 minute after your 1st wave has hit.

lvl1 -- 100 archers (no need to send 1st wave)
lvl2 -- 300 archers
lvl3 -- 500 archers
lvl4 -- 1000 archers
lvl5 -- 2500 archers
lvl6 -- 5000 archers
lvl7 -- 10,000 archers
lvl8 -- 65000 archers and 25000 ballistas
lvl9 -65000 archers and 25000 ballistas
lvl10 --still working on the "zero" loss

I have found that by sending 1st wave of 300 supply troops then a second wave of 59000 archers and 1300 ballista (with level 9 flecthing, metal alloy and poisened edge) my loses only come to 300 supply troops and 1 archer. This works out more cost effective that the 500 archer loss as quoted.

If you use the KoC Wikia, be weary and send a few more troops than it suggests. The problems with having a website that organized are several. One problem is that the KoC Devs also have access to it and are able to change things up slightly. Another problem is that the information isn't always accurate to start with. Then another problem is that some researches aren't included that should be included. Also, they don't explain that your Idle Knights should be given combat points. If you have a level 100 Idle Knight that only has 55 combat skill points, his experience won't help one bit because it's not applied anywhere.
