I have been trying to play for a couple of weeks. refuses to let me share, ask for gifts. just keeps trying to load. in need of an answer to fix this problem. Game would be fun if it worked properly

If I do what the moderator says and delete and readd Cityville, will I have to start all over again?

Can you tell me if this ever worked because i have been receantly been having the same problem but it will act up for a day or two then work ...then happen again for a day or two. please respond. Thanks!

Having the same issue and very frustrating just want to send gifts to be able to get them back!! I can not even share anything and it is keeping me from achieving my goals and I am getting tired! This is two days in a roll with this same issue!! And what is up with not getting certain collectables after three weeks of trying!!! GRRRRRR!!

Having same problem - if I try your suggestion and delete the Cityville listing, will it start all over from the beginning? I.e., level 1?

It sounds like there might be a problem with the CityVille Application in your profiles. Please follow the steps below. Hopefully that will work for you. If not, then use the link in the last step to contact Zynga Support. Good luck.

 

Cache, Flash, and App Cleaning

  1. Delete the Application - From any Facebook page: 1) Click on Accounts --> Privacy Settings; 2) Under Applications and Websites, click the "Edit Your Settings: link; 3) In the Applications You Use section, click the "Edit Settings" button; 4) Find the CityVille listing and click the "x" on the right side of the line.
  2. Clear Flash Player cache - Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html and select the "Delete all sites" button. This will clear old information that your Flash Player may be storing.
  3. Clear your browser's cache - Instructions at http://zynga.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/49
  4. Reboot your computer
  5. Reinstall the Application - Open your browser, go to Facebook, type CityVille in the search box, click the listing that comes up (should say "game" in the search listing). In the pop-up, give the application permission to install.
  6. Do a full refresh of your game -- Once fully loaded, hold down the CTRL key and press the F5 button at the same time. Let the game completely reload again.
  7. Check your game - After your game loads, check to see if the problem has been fixed. If it has not, then contact Zynga Support for assistance. Make sure you tell them exactly what the problem is as well as what you have done so far.
