Light-bulbdoes your pc run slow when running farmville? heres some advice

if your farm takes ages loading try the following tips. if you have a windmill try putting it into storage or selling it as on slower pcs it takes a lot of power due to moving parts. the same goes for to many horses on screen keep in a stable n just a few on show. almost everything that moves on screen drains your pc of power so very large farms with loads of animals n moving buildings will run very bad on all but the very best pc's this not only affects you but visitors to your farm as well which can make visiting a bit to laborious and inevitably you get less work done on your farm. also prevent animals from moving around by clicking on each n selecting stay. the biggest problem so far though seems to be the windmill so if necessary start by removing this and then check the difference on moving around your farm n doin jobs etc. all these things have been tried n tested on various pcs and on slower systems to very good effect which in the long run makes farmville a lot more enjoyable.
hope this advice helps n please let me know x

If you boost yourself to at least 2gb of ram (memory) and added a graphic card, you could load everything in the world on your farm. Just a heads up, don't forget enhancing and upgrading your pc is essential to ever changing technologies also.

•Cost = $40-50 for two ram stick (1gb each)
-Use crucial to find what type of ram you have http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
-Use newegg.com for lowest prices (generally) and great customer service

Once that is done, see if you are good. If not, you might need to add an actual video card, to handle all the flash objects moving. Most people generally have an SLI slot, and I would suggest getting an ATI HD5670 as it doesn't require any special connectors, or a power supply upgrade. You would just open up the case, and remove, and snap in new parts with both ram and video card.

If you need videos on how to change ram, or add a video card, google search is your friend. Use youtube to it's fullest as well. Adding these parts to your computer will give it a very large boost in efficiency, and it's ultra easy to do.

I do want to add one note onto this, that after i talked with coolchasers (since I had written them a couple days ago about the snag bar problem since it wasn't posted yet about the issues it was having with IE). They had recommended to me to delete history, cache, cookies. Once I did all that it did help the situation for about half a day.

I don't want to keep having to do that just to play FV. They need to do something about their servers being so overtaxed or something.

I've sold over half my trees, half the animals I've had. It's not made one bit of difference in the speed of loading up. My best friend doesn't even have as much as me on her farm and she says it loads up slowly or not at all. She and I both have had to refresh and refresh to get the game loaded. There are game freezes, then of course let's not forget how lagged it is as yiour playing.

Or you can use Firefox and adblock plus and set up rules to hide stuff so that farms load faster.

IT IS RUNNING SO SLOW THAT IT WOULD TAKE ME DAYS TO SELL, i STORED MY WIND MILL AND SOLD SOME ANIMALS BUT IS SO SLOW I DONT HAVE TIME TO SELL ANY MORE IS THE SNAG BAR MAKING IT RUM SLOWER.
