Light-bulbFARMVILLE: ZYNGA IS MAKING ANOTHER CHANGE EVEN WORSE THAN LIMITS

Please_share
by Peggy George - Jan 22, 2011 Star_s1,010 views

I logged into my farm, earlier, today,  in Farmville, and got a pop up from Zynga.  The pop up said that my posts will no longer be able to be view by inactive players.  It didn't define "inactive player".
I emailed Zynga and got a response stating , " An inactive player is one who has not played the game in the past 24 hours,"
Many of my friends and farmville neighbors work and have busy lives. Many only play 3 or 4 days a week.   I feel this is grossly unfair to those people who play but can't play everyday.
First the limits and now this....I am very annoyed and have stopped spending real cash on Farville dollars.
It is the raal cash purchases of Farmville game cards  and Farmville cash that earn Zynga profits.
I would like to know how many Farmville players will join me and play Farmville for free only and not  invest any real cash ?
Perhaps if a large number of us get together Zynga will notice a decline in its profits and put things back where they were.

i'm with you on this Peggy... I've been playing FV for about 12-18 months now and have never once donated my hard earned cash to any of the games on facebook... nor will I ever. The amount of money people have to spend to get some things is totally ridiculous.

I think that this game and the owners are getting as bad, or worse then politicians and dictators, trying to limit people and tell them how to play. Whats next for these greedy people pay to play. That happens and I`m dumping the game.

If they havent played in 24 hours your post prob are not going to be valid for them anyways . So whats the big deal ? The things you post do EXPIRE some within 8 hours . Some people do like to just occasionally play and they dont really care what the posts are anyways . the ones who do play frequently and like to acquire from posts are generally on everyday . Im not sure what the complaint is .

I have never spent a penny with Zynga/Farmville, nor would I. Who in their right mind pays for a 'BETA' programme!!

I'm level 275... all crop masteries done and most tree's... and all without the benefit of cheating. I've been at this since the beginning, devoting pretty much all of my waking hours to Farmville.

Quite simply, Zynga have lost the fucking plot..........!

that's just stupid. sometimes, I'm just too busy to play. That doesn't mean that I'm not coming back as soon as I get the chance.

I have done likewise no more fv cash for me .Stop filling their pockets and get their attention. That is the only thing that will get attention.2 or 3 items out of many things from the market is fv cash, and the real cool things are for fv cash, and it gets worse, the gifts are a not that great.

What's next? Pay $1 a day for playing FV? :p

well if you spend real money on farmville dollars your a fucking moron. its a game... they get their money from advertisements and people that wanna advertise their product on that game. i realize that shiney new horse they just put out is a must have but seriously spending real money on some random pixels is kinda dumb. but i agree with the post. they didnt specificate what a inactive player means. but if i had to guess it would be those people that hit accept to the game to get it off there new posts or whatever and never plag again. you know those people the lvl 1 with 0 xp on your neighbors list you can never get rid of just becuz they are a freind or family.

Count me in! And I agree with Rasha poor value for the money. I mean what is it, 27 FC for a rainbow chicken? Seriously? Also this change you are referring too not only punishes those who can't play everyday, but it can also have effects on the rest of us. For instance, if I make a post sharing building materials, and my friend can't reap the rewards, he can't add the "brick" or whatever to his structure triggering the option to share materials with his friends, which then means I can't reap the rewards either. I hope that makes sense but it's kind of a big circle. 9 times out of 10 I get my building materials from feeds as opposed to gifting. I'm level 43 and still do not have all my structures fully upgraded. The limits need to be lifted!

I saw the same thing, but I would think that they'd define inactive as a weekly, or monthly thing. I suppose they've decided it's time to start telling us how to play the game.....

Ive never spent the first dime on farm cash, and i never will. I have logged onto my farm 1 time since the 125 limit, (because I didnt want withered crops). Until its either raised or lifted completely I wont be playing at all, so I guess you could count me in as a free player in a sense, I do still watch the feeds and if i see a water can and feel greedy will still grab it for future use, just dont know how FAR into the future that will be.

stopped spending money for ages I feel the cash items are poor value for money

I will play for free untill they lift the limits.
