yep, they just stopped, no warning

Are these gone? I was in the middle of one and it seemed to just disappear! It was a great way to get bushels and coins and points. Why would they just take it away or is it just me?

What I have learned about co-ops. Do them~! I use them for XP points and sell the prize so I level up fast. You know which friends you can trust to help and finish after a while. Freeloaders - delete those that never start a co-op, but be tolerant/using and join those that use you - feel free to use them. Mom says to always be moral is bad in the real world because all people are not that way. It's hard, but just use them like they use you, and dont delete them. Of course if you start plant the stuff that takes the longest. Only join co-ops that you can be a help in (unless its that of a user). Use your bushels each time you harvest. Super harvests are cool! Pre-planting is good if you happen to have a ripe crop and someone needs that crop harvested. Doing it all the time takes so much time, that I am not sure I have the patience. I waver back and forth on this. I will if time works for it, if not forget it. Great tip though Mr. 24 GU. YOU ROCK~!

Now for my question - There is this user who is my neighbor. I fought the temptation to delete him many times, but noticed he does start a number of jobs so I kept him. Now I notice he is on 2 different co-ops at the same time. My thought is he as 2 ids, both of which are somehow both my friends (should look, come to think of it), but he is on 2 different co-ops at the same time. He jumps through the levels. What gives?

you have to be on level 20 to join a co op

Picture?type=square

i dont have the co-op button on my tool bar, how do you get it, do you have to be at a certain level?

Picture?type=square

I do not mind if people are 'freeloading' my jobs that succeed in getting the golden medal and special prize - It does not cost me more pain or struggle so I don't mind...

I more mind the people that start joining and forget to harvest in time, because I cannot harvest for others... accept for my several accounts... so I start up now jobs with 'me-myself-and I' and if others join it's ok.

I thought, the more people joined a job - even when doing nothing' - a job was rewarded more....
fb at least does keep track of how many people join your job...
anyway...

just my opinion....

@ Zoran - What you have posted is a rumor that has been debunked repeatedly. FarmVille has even posted on its forum that this is not the case, and many users have tested it themselves and proved it false. Please do not spread this rumor around.

@ Kirsten

Great advice. I wish, though, FV would break down which crops still need to be seeded and not just how many of each crop needs to be harvested on those multiple-crop Co-Ops. Would sure make things easier.

Also, you are right that you can use pre-planted crops so long as you seed enough to match the harvest. Step-by-step instructions can be found here: http://gamecheats.coolchaser.com/topics/2278-farmville-instructions-on-how-to-pre-plant-crops-for-use-on-a-co-op-mission

A few things I have learned. Only join coops early, or at least while the Gold is still possible. Plant the crops that take the longest time first, so that Johnny come latelys can plant the short term crops and still be useful. Before planting a field, test one of the crops first, that is, plant one of say, soybeans. A popup will rise from the bottom of the screen showing how many soybeans have been planted and how many are needed. If you do not get the pop-up, that means all the required soybeans have been planted and you would be wasting your effort. So then plant one of the next crop and watch for the pop-up. Once you determine where you are needed, then plant your fields. Because the other people in your coop may be doing the same thing and depending upon you to bring those in, don't forget to harvest them in time for the medal. Don't let down the team! I discovered by accident that pre-seeded crops will count toward the harvest. I think though that you have to be sure to seed enough to match the harvest.

@Stephen Potts...doing what you suggest in joining a group but doing no work is commonly referred to as 'freeloading' and is not an acceptable means of completing co-ops unless you wish to make people angry. I have had many do this on my jobs...and they now all find themselves deleted...is it really worth it for a school bus???

@ Terry - Actually, Fern is correct. I use the pre-plant method all the time.

I have created a thread with step-by-step instructions on how to do this: http://gamecheats.coolchaser.com/topics/2278-farmville-instructions-on-how-to-pre-plant-crops-for-use-on-a-co-op-mission

Picture?type=square

from what i have noticed you cannot start a job when you have stuff already planted because unlike Fern thinks below the crops dont count towards your job if you have stuff already in the ground befor you click Start job or Join Job with friend

Picture?type=square

So if I have a field of pappypan squash already planted, I can start a co-op with it planted.Let me know if this is correct. Thanks so much for all your help....Terri Panetta

Hey, i got a cheat!!!!

This works for any of the co-ops...

For example, The grape co-op...

What you do, is you plant the grapes a day before you start it... so then when the crops are ready you join the co-op.

Next, you harvest all of the ready crops and that goes sraight into it...

The idea of it is that you can then seed the amount you harvested, then you delete them... then seed them again, and so you have harvested a field full within 5 minutes, where as it would have taken you a whole DAY!!!!!!

Good luck everyone :D

If you have to seed and harvest two different crops or more. In my instance; I've got 4 people, plus myself. And Out of the four people, only one of them are a "friend/neighbor", whatever you want to call it. So I can visit there farm and see what there making, but not the other three... Point is, I dont know what to seed and harvest. Don't wanna harvest grapes if 750 cranberries are needed and i just planted my entire 22*22 with grapes. lol that was fun

Picture?type=square

co-op sucks because it's hard as heck to get a gold medal and you have to rely on other people to plant crops and half the time you're doing all the work. I wish Farmville wouldn't make it so difficult especially because the time limit runs out before you can plant enough crops to get the gold.

Picture?type=square

Does anyone know what level you gotta be to co op farm my sun is on 17 and can't but i have a friend on 24 that is

Picture?type=square

just join to the friend's job we can get a bonus or u can just start it in ur list
