Additions/Improvements

  • Each neighbor on your Neighbor Bar now shows the Ore-type that they can mine right on their portrait!
  • Added new gifts to the Free Gifts page.
  • Military buildings now show the most powerful units first.


Fixes

  • Fixed a crash caused by tending a neighbor and then buying a full energy refill.
  • The level requirements for some Government Buildings have been reduced.
  • Energy gained from visiting your neighbors is now capped at 5 per 24 hours.
  • Invasions on your neighbors' islands should now be clearer.
  • Removed some unnecessary pop-ups.
  • Fixed some issues with missing quest icons.
  • Other miscellaneous bug fixes.

Your basis of your argument is faulty. Simply because you set-up your land requiring 500+ energy a day does not make the system now changed wrong. I, like many of my neighbors, now have our farms and other harvesting building on rotations, We also never visit a neighbor in our group unless they ask, this ensures that if one member says, " I have 40 farms up and no energy." It is completely likely 7 or 8 of his fellow group members will still have 5 energy each harvesting his farms for him and in a sense saving him 40 energy. We do NOT accelerate any items unless asked, nor tend govt. housing unless of some that is not in our group. Simply put, To get a head you need to get a hand.

I am so not understanding the 20 energy from neighbors...and I have over at least 125 neighbors and land to tend that requires over 500 energy a day.. because it was built on the condition of unlimited energy twice a day. So now I can barely battle or help my allies who are invaded on so little energy.... Cityville get way more energy than this and you only have to tend your city??? I am wondering why They made this change, was it to slow us down or make us visit more effectively to get our land tended while we fight?

You should still be able to tend there land and gov buildings, you just don't get the energy bonus after the cap. Thanks for the updated report on the energy change!

Fixes
The cap on energy from neighbor tends has been increased from 5 to 20.
Fixed an exploit that allowed unscrupulous players to invade a neighbor multiple times in a row.
Fixed some display bugs with the neighbor bar.
All feed rewards should now show the correct number of coins.

So at least the energy cap results in a game that can be played. But what do I tell all the people who have me in their gov't buildings? They number way more than 20!

FYI- Energy runs on a 12 hour clock... @ Between 12-1pm and 12-1am PST the clock resets allowing you to get energy.... all of Zynga Apps are like this... Before they change to 5 energy..., I was able to visit my friends twice a day and collect...unlimited!
