What steps have you taken to try and solve this problem (be specific) Cleared my history, cache, and cookies. Uninstalled and Re-Installed the snag bar (4 times). Even ran a virus scan 2 times to be safe that it was not a virus causing it.

Whether anything changed after taking those steps and, if so, exactly what changed Nothing at all changed (except my blood pressure..lol)

A step-by-step detailed description of what is happening from the moment you hit "Snag" It logs me in, says it's snagging, and nothing at all gets snagged.
And, when I'm in game and click on active friends, it pulls up the active friends from the last 30 minutes only, but when I go to use that to send gifts, it says there are no active friends.

Thank you for providing all the requested information.

I just tested my version of the Chrome Snag Bar, and it didn't stop at 20 items. So it appears that whatever is happening is limited to your computer. There are three things that come to mind.

1) Are you using Chrome's "Incognito" mode? This is an option you choose within Chrome's Wrench settings that allows you to browser the Internet anonymously. If you are, do not use it when you want to use the Snag Bar as they are incompatible.

2) Double check your limit setting within FarmVille's options. Make sure you really have it set over 20 and haven't accidentally removed a zero (I know you said you had already checked it, but please check it again).

3) Double check that you have all the items marked within FarmVille that you want to Snag. As I'm sure you know, there are a TON of options in the FarmVille settings, and it is easy to think you have something marked when you don't. I'm sure you have already checked this, but just like the limits above, please double check this again.

Let me know if anything changes are you have done the above. If it hasn't, then we'll try a more drastic step to see if that will fix things.

@Colleen Nelson - My Chrome Snag Bar is working perfectly, so from my point of view there is nothing to fix. Please read the large, highlighted section of the original post of this thread. While you have provided some information, I need answers to all the questions listed to have any chance of helping you.

@Nichole Henry - We fixed it. Our ChefVille Admin accidentally included a line that caused it to collect items from other games. Thankfully, he found it and remove that extra line. Thank you so much for providing all the answers to the questions asked, as it did help us to find out the problem much quicker. I'm glad that things are working correctly for you again and I apologize for the inconvenience.

@Jackie Schrader-Dale - Please read the large, highlighted section at the bottom of the original post of this thread. Without answers to all of the questions asked there, I am unable to help you.

Hi i don't know what has happened but i can't get my snagbar to work anymore i don't know if it has anything to do with whats going on here,but i have uninstalled it and put it back in and still nothing my laptop is the same way please help because with this snagbar thru gamers united does nothing but help each other who needs parts for different games. My bar has not worked for about 2 wks now

The issue of my snag bar not picking up newer items for the last two weeks seems to have either been fixed by the fantastic people behind Gamers Unite, or just decided to start working again!! Thank-you for looking into the issue and for any work that was done to resolve it.

My snag bar is not working at all. Yesterday it collected 8 items, and not a thing since. It won't update to any active friends either. I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice now.

Windows 7
Games are CityVille, Pioneer Trail, and Castleville
No problems getting in to FB or any of the games

I don't know what happened, but please, fix the snag bar.

My snag bar only snags about 20 items then stops working. My limits on my games are above that number and I have manually clicked items on my feed that I know usually get snagged and they we not snagged. I am using chrome, and have tried to reload the snag bar didn't work. I stop and start again just about 20 more snagged and stops (although it says it is). TY

What steps have you taken to try and solve this problem (be specific) - reload the snag bar, start and stop

Whether anything changed after taking those steps and, if so, exactly what changed - Nada

A step-by-step detailed description of what is happening from the moment you hit "Snag" - GU snag page pops up and logs in with FB. List starts to show and then once it reaches about 20 items total (from any game) no more new items show up. Looking for items and little moving thingy still going, no notifications that it's not working. Items on my FB feed still show up that should be getting snagged are not.

A link to a screenshot of the problem - won't look any different than normal.

Any other information that might be relevant to this problem - just ask. :)

my snag bar works fine, but I have tried to load fv 12 times and all I get is whoa farmer every time! what is going on?

Good Afternoon.

Issue - Snag Bar is not collecting new item posts even with the snag all new items option checked in preferences.

Browser - Chrome v27.0.1453.110 m
OS - Vista Business 32bit
Game - Chefville
Issue started - about 9 days ago
FB access issues - none
Software changes - fully removed and re-installed snag bar after issue started, no change
Other computers - yes, I installed the snag bar on another computer and still same issue, also installed Firefox, but issue still persisted on other computer
Different browser - issue still occurs using Firefox
Frequency - issue has been consistent since onset
Attempted fixes - fully removed snag bar from Chrome and computer, re-installed, same for Chrome it's self, installed snag bar with same preferences on desktop which has never had the program installed previously, issue persisted.
After hitting snag, the program starts as usual and collects all other Chefville bonuses as per normal that where released prior to 9 days ago, including ingredients, energy, materials, all collect fine, just newer post items.

I usually change the preferences on a day by day basis, but only the energy and materials options, depending on how much energy I have, been doing that for some time though with no issue and the changes are being picked up from older posts.

The newer posts collect fine from the "My Feed" section and do not show the "report as collectable" next to them. They also collect fine from the FB application "Game Feeds". It is only the auto collection on the snag bar app that is not picking them up.

@Winterz Neault - I can't help unless you provide some actual information I can use. For starters, I need the EXACT names of the items the Snag Bar is collecting that you say you have unchecked in the Options section. Please also provide links to the rewards posts you are referring to. You can get the link from the Snagged Items page. Just right click the little link icon, copy the link URL, then paste in a reply here.

the snagbar is still snagging things that i have unclicked in farmville preferences. I use Firefox.I have been having this problem since the snagbar updated

Thanks Alan...i have no idea why that is but they can run it for days on end as i once could...i only use it to collect from chefville and am maxed out with neighbors(300), and when i check to see there are posts from mere moments ago etc. that it hasn't collected from...but now it stops at 1000 every time...

@Jim Crummer - I'll ask the Admins to take a look at what you mentioned. Yet, why is it working correctly for your friend and not you? (P.S. What game are you collecting for?)

For months now I've been having trouble with my snag bar not grabbing anything new......Doesn't matter if it's a bonus, new animal, or items on the feed, my bar is ignoring most of the stuff that has come out for tmonths now. What do I need to do to change this:? I'm missing so many new items and my bar is grabbing all the stuff that I don't want........

Hi again Alan...i understand wot you are saying about server hiccup but am now convinced that is NOT the problem...the other day i set the collects to 200 and it collected 200...so i figured ok it does understand wot i put in there...however i can now put the collects at anything over 1000 and it will only go to 1000 and stops...when it got to 200 i was watching and stopped it and re-started gu and it wouldn't collect right away...i also closed the browser, now firefox, and it would not start collecting immediately...it does the same thing last few days at 1000...i stop it and it won't restart...my question is why does it now stop at 1000???...it's more than a coincidence that it stops at 1000 every time now...this leads me to think that the maximum amount has been limited to 1000 and then we are dropped...maybe due to the increasing number of players using it changes have been made to the program in North America...idk...all i know is it won't work past 1000 on 2 different computers so something is fishy...thanks
