Also, it seems that once a friend collects/gifts you the crystals on a wall post, nobody else can gift on that same post so you either have to delete original post and post again or just post multiple times. Pain in the cookies if ya ask me... 
You can win them by playing regular scenes (not blitzes). You could win 1 crystal the same way you win things for your collection.
You can also get them by posting that you need them on your wall. If a friend clicks on your post, you get 2 crystals.

How do you get crystals besides buying them ?
