They generally only show up on 1 of your farms. If you miss the gopher in your crop area, There will be a pop up alerting you to "There's a gopher on your farm farmer, do you want to catch it", then of course you click on the catch it button, and go through the cycle. I will NOT show up on another farm until the "treats" are refilled and something like 4 to 6 hours have passed. It's very strange the way it works, and the fact that we can NOT store extra "treats". Also, it doesn't do a very good job at keeping proper counts on how many gophers you have collected to date. Hope this makes sense to you and everyone else.

I would like to know too. My daughter gets gophers every time she works on farm and so far I have got 1 show up since it started.

I think it is a waste of space and time...I have 5 farms and have only seen one gopher to date while on each farm and I spend a LOT of time farming!

Harvesting ur crops, look over all the plots...Not all harvesting will create a gopher, so look over carefully to see if one pop up..Click on the gopher when it appears

while you are farming they just appear on your farm, you then have to click on them before they disappear.
