Its time for Ted and Bess to get to know each other better. There is no better way than to head out to the wilderness and catch some wild animals!

Our Job is to help Bess and Ted tame these critters!

We will receive an affection meter to place on our homesteds so we can keep track of how much Bess' Affection we have collected.

As the meter rises to 500, 750 and 1000 we will get extra rewards, An animal tree, a rideable Wolf, and a book of XP!

We will see a new crop, the passion flower , that will be available for 475 coins in the market, as well as another collection to work towards. The Aniaml Taming collection will reward us with 2 tamin' treats when turned in.

We will need to craft several taming treats through out the missions.

Each Tamin Treat requires 2 rabbit jerky (requested) and 3 flower nector (drop from passion flower crops).

 To complete this set of missions you will need adult cows, adult pigs, adult goats, oak trees, pine trees, flax,  steel forges, 30 camomile and passion flowers.

I. Taming The Wild (repeatable)
Place an Owl Trap
Collect 8 Animal Decoys (requested)
Collect 10 Sturdy Gloves (drop from adult cows)
Rewards: 200 XP, 150 Bess' Affection, Mystery Reward 

Repeated Version:
Tend 30 Neighbor Goats
Collect 8 Animal Decoys
Collect to Sturdy Gloves
Reewards: 200 XP, 10 Bess Affection, Mystery Reward

II. Catching Owls
Finish Building 1 Owl Trap
Tame 1 Horned Owl
Collect 30 Owl Food (drops from grass)
Rewards: 50 Bess' Affection , 1 Wilderness Crate

To Tame a Horned Owl you will need to craft 10 Tamin Treats.

To Build Your Owl Trap you will need:

15 Solid Oak - Drops from chopping Oak Trees
15 Pine Panels - Drops from chopping Pine Trees
6 Owl Decoys (Requested)
4 Owl Calls (Requested)
8 Small Hinges (Requested)
10 Chicken Wire (Requested)

III. Cougars On The Prowl
Tame 2 Cougars
Collect 8 Cougar Treats (requested)
Craft 10 Scratching Posts
Rewards: 800XP, 50 Bess' Affection, 3 Infatuation Crates
**Each scratching post requires 2 strong ropes (from harvesting flax) and 4 wood posts (requested).

To Tame each Cougar you will need to first trap it by building a cougar trap, and then lure it in with one tamin treat. It will then take 15 more tamin treats to tame him.

To Build Your Cougar Trap you will need:

10 Steel Braces - Drops from harvesting Steel Forges
20 Solid Oaks - Drops from chopping Oak Trees
6 Small Collars - Requested
7 Rabbit Decoys - Crafted
10 Straw Bedding - Requested
8 Mouse Toys - Requested

**Each Rabbit Decoy requires 2 wooden rabbits (requested) and 3 cotton tails (requested).

IV. Watching For Wolves
Tame 3 Wolves
Harvest 30 Chamomile (free gift)
Collect 10 Chew Toys (requested)
Rewards: 2000 XP, 70 Bess's Affection , 2 Wilderness Juices (gives 2 hrs of fast hands, and full energy bar)

To Tame each Wolf you will need to trap it by building a wolf trap, then lure it in using 1 Tamin Treat. Once trapped you will need to feed it with 25 more Tamin Treats. 

To Build your Wolf Trap you will need:

25 Pine Panels - Drop from chopping Pine Trees
25 Steel Braces - Drops from Steel Forges
8 Strong Leashes - Requested
6 Moving Decoys - Crafted
8 Hearty Meals - Crafted

**Each Moving Decoy Requires 3 Rabbit Decoys (crafted) and 3 rabbit calls (requested) . Each Rabbit Decoy is crafted from 2 wooden rabbits and 3 cotton tails.

**Each Hearty Meal requires 3 meaty bones (crafted) , and 2 goat chops (drop from adult goats). Each Meaty Bone requires 2 salty bacon (drops from adult pigs) and 4 large bones (requested)
