Now that you have your Veggiematic I bet those mushrooms are worth more than gold.

I thought I had too many mushrooms too. Believe me when I say you can never have too many mushrooms or onions. If you have a problem with not enough of either, put a few full onions or mushrooms in a green grassy area. Then put trees (if you have access) or walls so that they block and no one can pick the 'rooms or onions. Leave them alone and they will multiply. In the meantime get the ones you need by visiting. Also look behind buildings. There may be spots that are grassy that you can't see. These wild things will crop anywhere there is grass.

If you have too many mushrooms, about all you can do is have all mushroom meals (the salad and the veggie kabobs) until you cut them all down to make room for other things. Put partially tended mushroom plants out for tending and put the full ones (3 tends) off to a corner that's not going to be used for anything anyway. Put tiles and objects where you don't want anything to grow. Onions are used more than mushrooms so those tend to run out. At least you can buy those at the market. Hope this helps!

do the mushrooms disappear if neighbors come pick them or do i have to do it by myself ?

the mushrooms and onions will both migrate to any unused grassy space. what worked for me is covering all grassy spaces with either the grassy patches for sale, flowers, tiles, etc.

you can use the hearts to buy more onions.. then leave them alone and i found more grow.. i clump them together away from the mushrooms.. but dang i can't get control of the mushrooms.. trying some of your ideas now.

as long as there is no grass for the mushrooms to thrive on, all that is needed is to layout the tiles to cover up where you do not want them to be. downside is your onion population would be limited also. how i've done it is leave an area as big as 1 expansion and let them both grow. when ever i can, i would harvest the mushroom so that the onions can have space to take over. sooner or later, you'll have a farm with only onions. make sure u take care of the new grown mushrooms or else it can become a problem real quick.

oh heck.. I thought using my energy to get rid of some of these suckers would work :(

Picture?type=square

how long does it take for onions to grow back ? I know my neighbors get tired of me getting their onions :(

Tony Hull... this doesn't work either. My mushrooms were blocked it 3-4 deep with the grassy stone tiles.. and I just uncovered/received my chicken coop and POP... 2 were there in the space of 4 hours. I have to use up precious energy to get rid of them. 6! So take your pic and add 3 deep to what you had and it still didn't work. They should put a max in the program of how many mushrooms one can have. It takes forever to buy the onions for me... but limit the shrooms please.

I've blocked off my mushrooms many times and it does NOT help, they pop up outside the blocked areas anyway. The mushrooms truly have a mind of their own. I wish we could pull them out like weeds and throw those suckers away! LOL They are taking over!!!! I have way more mushrooms than I could ever use!!

I've had luck with using the path and sidewalk tiles to contain the mushrooms. I used a double row of pathing around the area I want them to be contained in and sidewalk in the areas I don't. Now I just have to clear all the extras away.

I've just checked the tip below but I'm afraid blocking the onions and mushrooms don't help much. I've blocked mine with picket fence and after a day or so both onions and mushrooms start to appear somewhere else on the map and they keep multiplying. They appear on my kitchen tiles or any random places. This gives me the creeps whenever I wonder what is hiding behind my high walls @[email protected] Please check the screen I just made. You can see new mushrooms break off my control (right where I've put an arrow). Seems like my mushrooms don't want to obey me :F (sorry for mistakes, english is not my native)

From what I've seen mushrooms and onions need a space beside, or around them, to sprout new shoots (if shoots is the right word lol). So space your onions out every other spot in the area you're trying to grow them.

Mushroom control tip: like above they need room.  so group your mushrooms in one small area and block them in with small shrubs, rocks, grass, whatever you have that will prevent space around them from being open.  You could also fence them in.  From what I've noticed the past week, if I block them in, they will not produce new ones needing to be cleared.

Picture?type=square

i not sure but if you pick 2 onions and leavethe rest i think they multple i'll tell you later - but if you leave free space mushroom can grow

Picture?type=square

They need to slow down the mushrooms and increase the onions!!!

I want a solution for more onion :(
