Question-whiteChefville link exchange can't find posts

I can't get the chefville link exchange to work - for some reason it can't find my chefville post, it says that there are no posts, though I have posted a bunch. Have anyone had this problem and found a solution? It was such a great tool, so I hope I can get it back. Thank you!

At this time, the problem appears to be a Facebook one. The only suggestion we have for you is to try the steps below, as some users say that it fixed the problem.

If that doesn't fix the problem, then there is no other support we can provide unless you are willing to screenshare with us. If you are willing to do so, visit our Troubleshooting Wizard page. Select "Other" for the problem, click the "Continue" button, then click the gray "Tried all the troubleshooting but still no luck" button. Follow the instructions for installing Yuuguu on your computer and submit all the information asked. Make sure in the description box you CLEARLY state that the problem is with the Link Exchange AS WELL AS what game you are trying to use.

App, Flash, and Browser Cleaning – GU!

  1. Log out of Gamers Unite! (http://gamersunite.com - top right corner of page)
  2. Delete the GU! App from your Facebook Profile (http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications)
  3. Log out of Facebook (do this in every browser installed on your computer)
  4. Clear Flash Player cache (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html - "Delete All Sites")
  5. Clear your browser's cache (do this for every browser installed on your computer)
  6. Close & reopen your browser (start with just one browser)
  7. Log back into Facebook
  8. Reinstall the GU! App (http://gamersunite.com - blue "Connect with Facebook" button on top right of page)

Dear moderator, I tried logging out from other browser and it still doesn't work.

Facebook is having issues and is not returning all the information that we are requesting for some people. The only suggestion we have for you is that you log out of Facebook on all browsers, then pick one browser to log back into. Then try the Link Exchange. Several other members have stated that this fixed the issue for them.

I have (almost) the same problem. I don't get the message no posts, but it keeps on loading. I tried Internet Explorer and Chrome, still won't load. Also, the Link Exchange fetching multiple posts from others doesn't work properly. I can fetch one, the pop up doesn't reload to fetch the next one.... Bummer.

I'm having a problem with one particular request. It is for the covered containers. the link that is showing up is for a mystery ingredient instead of the covered container. If I can find one of my friends who have posted for it, I can get the covered container if I click on the upper link. The lower link is for the mystery ingredient and that is what posted

Link exchange keeps on fetching my posts but never finds them. What`s the matter ?

@Sarah Barnard - Not exactly what I was referring to, but I also wasn't clear on what I was looking for. Still, I saw the item you were talking about (sent you one, by the way), and notified one of our Admins to double check that Banter Bowls (that's the name, right?) is being spoted by the Link Exchange as I didn't see any posted.

99% of the time link exchanges never has any rewards as they are all already claimed :-( basicly a waste of time for me when 1 in 20-30 links gives a reward.

@Sarah Barnard - 99.9% of the time, a post not showing up when you visit our Link Exchange page is a Facebook issue: simply, Facebook didn't properly return all the information we requested. This happens more times then you would think it would. If you can see that other people have posted the same type of post, then Facebook is the problem. If no one has posted such a post, then it may be a problem on our end. You would need to provide us a link to the reward post on your wall so we can view the reward post to see what it says.

I tried posting the same reward/request two days in a row just a few days ago. It posted on my wall, but GU did not see it. I haven't had problems with any other ones, just this particular one. If this should happen again, how do I provide you with the link that GU can't find?

@Tonya Tucker - I need you to provide me with links to the actual reward posts you posted on your Facebook wall that you say should be seen by the Link Exchange. I need to read these posts to determine if I need to notify the Admins about it.

None of the Halloween posts are showing up on GU...I have done the following things:
- added a note to the post
- changed my settings from Only Me to Public
- reported to Zynga
- reported to GU

As an aside, my regular posts (chicken feed, chicken wire, bread, etc...) work.

My links haven't been showing up in Link Exchange for about that last week or so. I've checked all my settings, refreshed the game and my browser, etc and still nothing. I'm not getting the option to copy the link URL to post manually, either.

All my games are doing it. I don't get credited with the gifts coming in either. Allies are disappearing at a rate of one per day and I've been playing a month so you do the math. Frustrating is an understatement. Going to give up I think. Never should have returned to zinga games! :'(

Seems like it's been happening to me, and I think it's because it's seems like my posts haven't been showing up on my Wall, I'll click on my name at the top of Facebook, and there's never anything listed from what I've been doing in Chefville
